FAQs
- Can correspondence or part-time students get a scholarship?
No, only full-time, regular programs qualify. Private candidates or self-study courses like CA/CS/ICMAI do not.
- What happens if I switch my course mid-way?
The scholarship continues only for the duration of your original course. Switching to a shorter/longer course changes the tenure and payout accordingly.
- Can more than one family member apply?
Usually, only one student per family is eligible, with a possible second slot if both are girls.
- Is renewal automatic each year?
No, it depends on getting the required marks—≥55% in professional/engineering/medicine, ≥50% for other degrees and diplomas, and passing all subjects each year.
- Can I hold other scholarships simultaneously?
No, except for state/central government scholarships. If chosen, you need to relinquish other trust/institution aid.
